Gayle Ferraro
DIRECTOR + PRODUCER
Gayle Ferraro has directed and produced four feature documentaries in Bangladesh, Myanmar, India and the United States. Her most recent film, TO CATCH A DOLLAR: MUHAMMAD YUNUS BANKS ON AMERICA, premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2010 after receiving a Sundance Documentary Program / Skoll Foundation “Stories of Change” grant. ANONYMOUSLY YOURS (2002), which Ferraro filmed clandestinely in Myanmar, played at numerous festivals including Boston International Film Festival and AFI Fest.
Ferraro is currently developing two films: WELCOME, SORRY YOU’RE HERE, which follows a grief-support group for women who lost a family member to overdose, and JULY 36, which documents the 2024 Bangladesh revolution.
